Natuzzi Rumor
Ahhh - so the rumor among the furniture showrooms I've been frequenting could be true: Natuzzi is moving all their production to China. At first I was aware their Italsofa line was produced by factories in Latin America and China, but I was under the impression that even the Natuzzi-branded lines would still be made in Italy. Not so anymore, apparently all production will slowly be shifted to China to meet the competition; leather will still be imported to China I've been told, but all the production (still according to Natuzzi-quality specs) will be done in China.
Kitchen Table – done (kinda)

Less than 12 days till close! Went to the Kasala Outlet today and saw a glass table similar to the one pictured - put a deposit down on it along with four brown leather dining chairs (mid-back). My mom will be in town next week so I'd like her opinion on the table and chairs before I complete the purchase. My brother convinced me to go with a rectangular table since it could be placed against the wall to save space; especially since I will often be eating alone. The company who makes the table is "Chair-tech" which after some research; turns out to be a Canadian company- which most likely wholesales out of China. It's almost impossible to not buy China-made products nowadays; furniture places have been telling me that eventually the entire Natuzzi line will be outsourced to China (at first I thought it was only Italsofa that was China-made). Part of me would still like my furniture to not just be designed in Italy, but made in as well. Thankfully, the Natuzzi sectional I have my eye on right now is still being produced in Italy.
Here's a picture of the general area where the table would go

Lutron Vierti
My house comes with lame one way flip switches. One of the first things on the agenda will be to switch to some nicer Lutron switches - so I started looking and discovered these hot Lutron Vierti switches/dimmers coming out this fall. LED touch dimmer - and every guy loves LEDs. The Vierti comes in 3 different LED colors (swapable colors!) and various finishes; the brushed steel one looks HOT.
They have an interactive demo for this switch too!
R&B’s Normandy Dining Table

I love this dining table. Art and function all in one. Glass is also a plus - easy clean up, no staining. Has anyone seen this in person? I'd want this in my kitchen nook along with some leather chairs...
