My bro just got Directv today and the Chinese TV package; watching this HK sitcom and there's an Indian guy who speaks Cantonese really well - hilarious. Haven't been exposed to Chinese media in such a long time - I feel like everyone speaks so fast.

I finished JPod a couple weeks ago (loved it); returned it to the library and picked up three new books:
Light - Why Do Men Fall Asleep After Sex
Medium - Adverbs
Heavy - The God Delusion

Light & med books I'll finish during my bathroom reading but the God Delusion is pretty heavy stuff; bedside reading. Loving the book so far - a real eye opener, I want to buy a copy so I can write notes and highlight in it.

Pat and Joyce came over today to help me with some chores: seal all granite & tile (floors too!), vaccuum, and put together a heavy duty shelf from Costco. I can't believe how much of a homemaker I've turned into; every night I spend about 2 hours doing things to make the house more livable. This past week I've been cleaning the ovens, dishware, cookware, wiping down all surfaces and lining the drawers and shelves with Lifeliner. Can't wait for the weather to cool down; the house still feels like an oven. Sonos should be here tomorrow; can't wait to blast it out of my family's legacy B&Ws.
