Ferm living produces wallpaper, wall stickers (decals), and other textile graphics. Found this site through Decor8 by means of imedaGoze. I’ve been looking for ideas to spruce up blank walls – I’ve considered painting, wall art, wallpaper and even wall decals. The more I learn about interior decorating the more I understand how all these things can be put together to complete the look and feel of a room.
I mentioned before in another post that I am a fan of organic/outdoorsy art, particularly branches. Ferm has some pretty cool wall decals that I could probably use. Their wallpaper suites my taste very closely and I like how they offer various ways of getting their graphics on walls. Wall stickers and decals come in various sizes and DIY-configurations such as these acrylic hexagons. ![]()
My inclination is to only use wallpaper/decals in a small room or on only one wall, since the bold pattern can be overpowering if overused. Or if it was a small room like my powder room, I would probably wrap the entire room. It’s terribly difficult for me to imagine what a room is going to look like after painting or wallpapering – what I’m most afraid of is regretting a decorating choice after the sunk costs and time.
